Advisory

AI Marketing Consulting and Digital Marketing Advisory, India

I work as an AI marketing consultant and digital marketing consultant to a small number of leadership teams each year, alongside the digital role I hold inside a large hospital group. The advisory work is deliberately limited, and it is limited to the problems I have solved from the operator’s seat: how a business turns trust into customers with digital, CRM and AI that survive a CFO review and a compliance review.

This page explains what that work covers, how it runs, and who it is not for. There are no case studies with names on them here; the selected work page shows the decisions behind the results without naming the organisations, and the articles on this site show how I think.

Scope

What the consulting covers

AI marketing strategy and operating model

Which marketing problems AI should solve first, what stays human, build or buy, who owns the operating model, and how value is measured. The output is a decision the board can fund, not a tool list. Background reading: AI in marketing and AI for CMOs.

Digital marketing diagnostic

A short, evidence-led review of search (including AI search and answer engines), paid media economics, content systems, website and booking flows, CRM definitions and measurement. It ends with a ranked list of what to fix, what to stop and what to leave alone. See the healthcare marketing framework for the model I use.

Healthcare growth and digital transformation

For hospital groups, clinic chains, diagnostics and health-tech companies: patient acquisition, CRM and contact centre design, launch demand, AI in the patient journey, DPDP-compliant data practice and the operating model that holds it together. Start with digital transformation in healthcare.

Vendor and agency selection

Independent, buyer-side help with RFPs, scorecards, pilots and contracts for CRM, marketing automation, AI agents, analytics and agencies. The advice is only about fit. See how to choose an AI marketing agency.

Format

How an engagement runs

Diagnostic sprint. Two to four weeks. I read the data, interview the people who touch the customer, test the journeys myself, and return a written assessment with a ranked plan. Most engagements start here and many end here, because the plan is the product.

Advisory retainer. A fixed number of hours a month for a leadership team that wants a second opinion on decisions as they come: a vendor shortlist, a board paper, a hiring brief, an AI pilot design. Minimum three months, so there is time to see decisions land.

Programme oversight. For a defined programme, such as a CRM implementation, a contact centre rebuild or an AI marketing roll-out, I sit with the sponsor and the delivery team at the checkpoints that decide whether it reaches production. I do not run the project day to day; your team or your vendor does.

All work is remote-first with in-person sessions in Indian metros when the decision needs a room. Conflicts of interest are checked before any conversation begins, and I decline work that competes with my employer or with an existing client.

Fit

Who this is for, and who it is not for

It is for CEOs, CMOs, CFOs, founders and boards who already know that digital and AI matter and want an operator’s judgement before they spend. It works best when the organisation is complex or regulated, where the hardest problems live: healthcare, financial services, education, multi-location services.

It is not for teams looking for campaign execution, content production or media buying. Those are agency jobs, and the agency selection guides on this site will serve you better than a retainer with me. It is also not for anyone who wants a tool recommendation without a decision on the problem first.

If the fit looks right, use the contact page and describe the decision you are trying to make, not the tool you are trying to buy. I reply to every serious enquiry, and I say no quickly when I am not the right person.
