Why it exists
The problem it solves
Patients now ask AI assistants which hospital to go to, which doctor treats a condition and whether a unit accepts their insurance. The answers are assembled from whatever the assistant can find and trust about you — listings, your website, doctor pages, reviews and what others say. If those sources disagree or are thin, the answer is vague, wrong or about someone else.
This audit checks the signals that shape those answers, from entity consistency to structured data to review patterns, and ends with the most useful step: asking the assistants yourself and recording what they say. It covers visibility and accuracy, not tricks. Clinical claims on your pages still need clinician review.

It is the work of making sure AI assistants and AI-led search describe your hospital accurately and cite you when patients ask relevant questions. For hospitals it rests on consistent entity information, complete doctor and service pages, structured data, clear answers to common questions and credible third-party signals such as reviews and listings.
Ask them the questions patients ask — best hospital for a procedure in your city, which doctors treat a condition, whether a unit offers cashless — in English and regional languages. Record the answers, sources cited and errors with the date. Repeat monthly. Patterns in errors usually point to an inconsistent listing or a missing page.
AI systems build a picture of an organisation from many sources. If your hospital name, address, phone number, departments or doctor names differ across listings, aggregators and your own site, the system is less confident and may merge, confuse or omit you. Consistency across every unit is the cheapest and most important fix in the audit.
Not directly, in most cases. You correct the sources the answers draw on: your website, listings, aggregator profiles, structured data and public information. Then you wait for those to be re-read. Some assistants offer feedback options; use them, but treat them as secondary. Fixing the underlying sources is what lasts.
