An operator, not a consultant.

An operator, not a consultant.
I run digital for one of Asia’s largest hospital groups as Vice President, Digital. That covers digital growth, CRM, AI strategy, content operations, and the go-to-market for new hospitals and service lines across the network.
Before this, I was Chief Marketing Officer at a leading multi-city children’s hospital chain. Before healthcare, I spent years in luxury retail, telecom and media — in each case taking a category that believed it couldn’t be measured and building the machinery that measures it.
I’m an engineer by training with an MBA from ISB. I live in Hyderabad.
What I’ve actually done
- Built and run group-wide digital platforms serving dozens of hospitals and millions of patient interactions
- Led digital go-to-market for new hospital launches in multiple cities and the group’s oncology growth programme
- Deployed conversational AI across patient touchpoints and used it to rethink contact-centre economics
- Led CRM and data-sharing compliance work across group entities under India’s DPDP Act
- Set the group’s approach to AI search and generative engine optimisation
- Ran contact-centre modernisation: chatbots, voice bots, self-service
Why I write
Most of what’s published about healthcare digital is written by vendors and consultants. Very little comes from the people who own the P&L and have to live with the results. This site is my attempt to change that ratio — one post at a time, from the operator’s seat, not the advisor’s.
Three things I keep coming back to:
- Digital growth in hospitals — acquisition, CRM, attribution, launches
- AI in healthcare operations — what’s working, what’s theatre
- Leading from the CXO seat — teams, boards, and career decisions
Advisory
I take on a small number of advisory engagements with hospital groups, healthtech companies and investors who want an operator’s view on digital and AI. If that’s useful to you, write to me.
